Tie rod end lock-type air cylinder with a standard air cushion that utilizes a floating cushion seal to eliminate piston rod bouncing. Its cushion volume has been elevated to permit about 30% more allowable kinetic energy absorption. The port and captive cushion adjustment valve are located on the same side of the cap for heightened access.
